Niger Delta Militants Blow Up Another NPDC Pipeline In Delta

Niger Delta Militants under the aegis Niger Delta Greenland Justice Mandate NDJM, today, attacked a Nigeria Petroleum Development Company (NPDC) delivery line in Delta State.
The militants claimed responsibility for the attack in a statement released today by its self styled Gen Aldo Agbalaja.

Independece Day: Federal Government Declares Monday Public Holiday

The Federal Government has declared Monday as public holiday to mark the nation’s 56th independence anniversary celebration.
Lt Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau (retd.), the Minister of Interior made the declaration on behalf of the FG as he congratulated Nigerians at home and abroad on the commemoration of this year’s independence anniversary.
He assured them that the government was working assiduously to put in place “various palliative measures to cushion the effects of the current economic challenges.”
